Do you think we should give monetary incentives to the KP2 students to motivate them to get better grades?

In my opinion, the KP2 students shouldn’t be given the money in order to motivate them to get better grades. For me this is just not right. This will make it become worst. Why I'm saying that this is not the right thing because it will make them not concentrate on their study, it will lead them to more social problem and will burden their own self.

The first point that I disagree with this statement is because they will not concentrate on their study. We take an example. In our own university, almost 90 % of the students get the loan from MARA. In that case they got a monthly allowance. For Diploma student is about RM 536 while for Degree student is RM 595. With this amount of money they already not concentrate on their study how this incentive will make them want to study? It just will make it worst. The student will go enjoy their monthly allowance plus their incentive. They will feel that they are in the heaven because they have a lot of money.

Next point is it will lead them to social problem. Yes it is kind a harsh statement but in reality it can happened. When they got a lot of money (monthly allowance + incentive) they will go to enjoy. They will go overnight at the city, they having fun. All of this just will make the social problem increase because the lecturer cannot do anything even the management of university because they are out from the campus. So they can do whatever they want to do. As an example, before this they cannot go to a club for clubbing because not having enough money but when they got the incentive, maybe just maybe they can go. From here it will lead them to the social problem.

The next point is this incentive will burden them. What I meant it will burden them is that they will feel that everyone including the lecturers, the management, their parents and even friends will be hoping that they will get a better grades because they already been given the incentive. When they felt this is a burden it will make them don’t want to study and even worst, quit their study.
As a conclusion, for me giving the KP2 students the money incentive is not a proper way to motivate them. For me it must be start from the parents, friends, lecturer and the student itself. We have help the students. Give them the courage and show them the way how to improve their grades by sending them to any motivation talk.

This is my opinion. I hope everyone have their own opinion.

That’s all
Thank You

My Educational Aspiration for 2011

Assalamualaikum and hello to everyone~

we meet again..
straight to the point we think..
this entry was given the name My Educational Aspiration for 2011.

so..
what is the meaning of aspiration?
aspiration means hope or ambition.
so what is educational hope or ambition for 2011?

So here is the list that can be our aspiration for this year..

numero uno!

of course this will be in the mind of each student in the whole university..want to get a better result or a better grade for this coming semester. so do us..but most importantly we want more!
we want more! haha

we want to be the best student or maybe to get Dean's List for each semester..
yes that is our goal!

my next hope is of course to change ourself to be a better person for our family, friends and lecturers.
that is something hard to do but for us we will try our best to deliver it.

oh yes!!!
we still remember not so long time ago we went to the nearby bookshop and suddenly we saw one quote. this one is a very nice quote but we forget who is the writer for this quote. but we still want to share it with all of you! yes all of you!

"When someone tells you something u do not like..
PUSH YOURSELF TO LISTEN
PUSH YOURSELF TO BE OPEN PUSH YOURSELF TO CHANGE. IF NOT NOW..WHEN???"
So we think that's all for today till we meet again..

Remember! Don't forget to come by to our blog next time..hehe

The First Excitement~

Assalamualaikum and Hello

WELCOME TO OUR BLOG!!!

this is the first post of this blog..hehe
actually the blog was made for the English subject purposes.

so lets talk about the experience, the expectation and the impression of this subject.

First of all, when we are looking at our timetable..we felt kind of excited because English had always been our favorite subject since our diploma..For us the english subject is major fun and full of excitment!!!

After the hooray and jumping..haha..(exaggerate).. We saw something that is catch our eyes..hehe the name of our lecturer Madam Syahro Syerina Syahrin.. the name for us was very unique..
and we came with an idea to give her a nickname.. Mdm 3S.. (hope you don't mind Mdm.)

Then the first experience for this class.. it was awesome! she knows how to make the class interesting, lovable and make the students even more excited to learn and participate in the class.. she even gives some of the student their nicknames..even us have a nickname..hehe

So back to the top..the blog was made for english subject purposes. this blog was one of the lecturer's evaluation on how we are writing, expressing, and much more. this evaluation gives 20% from the total mark.. so dear Madam can we get the 20% mark?hehehe

so that's all we think that can pop out from our head right now..

So long my dear fellowship. hope you are enjoy
and remember always be yourself

Assalamualaikum~
